VI Meeting of the National Training Council in Local Self-Government January 27, 2012

Podgorica, 26 January 2012. VI meeting of the National Training Council in Local Self-Government (NTC) was held in premises of the Human Resources Management Authority (HRMA).

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Aleksandar Bogdanović, Mayor of the Historical Capital. Mayor Bogdanović was elected for the President of theUnion’s Assembly on 23 December 2011. Based on that, he will be the NTC’s President.

X meeting of the Assembly the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro December 23, 2011

X meeting of the Assembly of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro was held on 23 December 2011 in Podgorica. The meeting was chaired by the Secretary General Mr. Rajko Golubović.

The UoM Assembly discussed and adopted the Strategic Plan of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro 2011-2016 and the Decision of Amending the Statute of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro.

Training for members of Ethical Committees for Local Elected Representatives and Officials December 17, 2011

In the framework of joint activities of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro and the OSCE for 2011, one-day training for members of Ethical Committees for Local Elected Representatives and Officials was organized on topic “Conduct of Proceedings by the Ethical Committee for Local Elected Representatives and Officials”.

XX meeting of the Executive Board of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro December 16, 2011

XX meeting of the Executive Board of the Union of Municipalities of Montenegro was held  on 16 December 2011 in Podgorica. The meeting was chaired by the EB’s President Mr. Žarko Pavićević.

Due to the importance of topics from the Agenda, beside of the EB’s members, the meeting is attended by representatives of other local self-governments, Deputy Minister for sustainable development and tourism Mr. Siniša Stanković, Deputy Minister for finance Ms. Biljana Šćekić and Director of the PROCON Limited Ms. Jadranka Vojinović.
